I am looking for a non-hormonal form of birth control and am considering the sponge. What are your experiences

The sponge looks huge and scary! Does that thing really fit in there?I am looking for a non-hormonal form of birth control and am considering the sponge. What are your experiences
Before I got on the pill I used VCF's (vaginal contriceptive film) it's this little tiny thin film that you fold up and put inside you not less than 15 minutes before you have sex.

They worked for me because they were small and easy to use and carry around.

Plus, used with a condom they are as effective as the pill.

Hope that helped!I am looking for a non-hormonal form of birth control and am considering the sponge. What are your experiences
I've used them but they're soaked in spermacide which I'm allergic to (found out the hard way).

There's other things like an IUD but that doesn't prevent conception, it prevents implantation.
