Have you heard of this form of ant control?

Someone told me that if I took a shovel-full of one mound and put it on another that the ants would eliminate one another. Is there any proof of this?Have you heard of this form of ant control?
If you're talking about fire ants they will attack and kill each other. The larger mound will survive.Have you heard of this form of ant control?
My brother told me about that. If you take one from the


backyard and put it with one in the frontyard they


attack each other. I personally haven't tried it.

they exist in nature for a purpose and should generally be left alone. The exception would be fireants, those close to home, and those in a childrens play area.


If you have a significant number of anthills in your environment there are simple things you can do to reduce the problem. Keep in mind you will probably never eliminate a pest that predates us.


Using a spray bottle or hose-end sprayer mix one tsp. of Ivory Liquid soap per quart of water and spray the area until it is throughly soaked. It will not effect the grass but suffocate the ant. Get a container that is squeezable with a very small delivery nozzle. Squeeze a small amount of gasoline into the anthill and stomp it closed. The fumes sink and kill most of the pest. Respray with the Soap an hour or so later. Good Luck.
Not really. You'd just have a big ant fight on your hands. Angry ants are not better than happy ones.
No never , If you want the ants to move on just put black pepper down and around the entrance of there tunnels , that麓s the way to get rid of them achoo

Home Depot sells stuff for ants, even fire ants, that you sprinkle all over the yard and it eliminates them. We just used to stuff that gets rid of dollar weeds, fire ants and it's also fertilizer! Triple shot!





I think the idea that ants from one area moved to the next aren't going to like each others personalities and move away, or fight each other to the death, is the most retarded thing I've ever heard.
