Is the widtrawl method a safe enough form of birth control?

My Husband and I don't want to get pregnant right now and hate condoms. We use the widthrawl method. Can I still become pregnant or is there not enough sperm in precum?Is the widtrawl method a safe enough form of birth control?

To answer your question: No, its not a suitable method of NOT getting pregnant, as the others have proven.





The best option IS the birth control pill if you are married and hate condoms. I am in that category too! I was on the pill for a good 6 years or so when I first got together with my husband.





Now since I had my daughter I do not want to go back on birth control as I want to have another baby and not mess my cycles up (as it took us ages to concieve first time).





Therefore I am using BBT charting to track my ovulation and avoid intercourse at that time.

But as I am not entirely worried about getting pregnant (it would be better later on in the year but not a disater if it happened now) this is fine for us. It minimalises but doesn't extinguish the chance.


Therefore if you really don't want to get pregnant take the pill, if you want to reduce your chances but would be ok if you did get pregs then carry on as you are.
Psh might as well let him finish inside. you can get pregnant from penetration be safe! I know you've heard it a million times and have used the pull out method so many times your like yeah right ill be fine i havent gotten pregnant yet. Thats what I said and now im 7 months pregnant. birth control is your friend :)
Oh hell yeah I have a few nieces that are pull-out babies. If you dont like condoms take the pill or the shot, but pulling out will eventually do it..Besides doesnt it kinda suck to pull out before he really finishes. That makes me feel like our love making is incomplete, but maybe thats just me.
Safe enough for what? If you don't want to get pregnant then go get on the pill or something. Condoms are only about 85% effective, Withdrawl is only about 50%.

Its 80% effective so its means you still can get pregnant using this method. I know alot of women who used this methid and boom!!BABY..^^
use me as an example. thats what me and my husband did and now i am 30 weeks pregnant. if you dont want a baby, then you should get on birth control until you do. good luck
You will get pregnant eventually. I did. The withdrawal method is not effective enough, if you arent willing to have a baby you should use birth control or something.
Why not have your doctor fit you for a diaphragm! Their easy if you don't want to use birth control pills.

I used to because when I first had sex the condom didn't fit (to small). Plus I hated them. Never once got her pregnant but then again she was on the pill
I use that method and got pregnant, but since you dont have kids you will probably be fine try it
I used it now I have two kids. It works but one time you're just not gonna make it out on time.
well we used the pull out method and 9mths later my daughter was born :-) so no the pull out method definitly does not work...
