I'm currently on the shot and it's not working out so i'm looking into other options.

I dont know much about it either. I use the pill and i like it. It is easy and i just take it once a day. I take it in the morning. They suggest taking it at night tho so you dont get sick, but i dont have a problem with that. If you dont get sick right now, then you will be fine taking it in the morning. If you can remember to do something everyday, then this will work for you. You can experience light bleeding during the month off your schedule, but very light cramps will warn you to wear a pad or tampon that day. Now you have diff types of pills that you can take. you can take a 28 pill pack or 21 pill pack. the only diff is the amount of ';empty pills'; which are there only to keep you taking a pill everyday. I'm on the nuvaring and I LOVE it. The first 2 months I had sporadic spotting, but after my body got in the swing of things, I have had no problems. My skin is clearer, by periods are shorter and less painful, I don't have to remember a pill every day. It is 99.9% effective. Skipping periods with the ring is very easy, too.
There are tons of bad reviews out there, including people who got horrible depression from the ring, but you just have to try it and see if it works for you. Good luck!

i like the pill loestrin 24 fe cuz it gave me very light/short periods and it was easy to remember for me
Alesse 28 is pretty good :)
