I'm planning on becoming sexually active in the near future, and I want to be responsible about it. However, I'm not over 18, and my parents will not consent to birth control pills.
Also, and more importantly, is there a way to get birth control without your guardians consent?Would using a condom, spermicide, and the pull out method be a reliable enough form of birth control?
You don't need parental consent to go on birth control.Would using a condom, spermicide, and the pull out method be a reliable enough form of birth control?
That sounds reliable enough to me but remember, no method of contraception is 100% risk-free. Even doubling up or, in your case tripling up has its risks. Basically, the only way you're not going to get pregnant is through celibacy but for most people that isn't an option (which is why birth control exists in the first place!).
What country are you in? If you're in the UK and over 16, you can go to Brook and get the pill totally free and they will not contact your parents about it.
If you're worried about your parents finding the pills, you can always get the arm implant. It's known as Implanon (Google it!) in the UK but it might be known as something different in other countries - I'm sure it's not only the UK that provides it. It's a little tube, approximately the size of matchstick that is inserted under the skin in your arm. It secrets a hormone (progestogen I think but you will need to check) which stops you from getting pregnant just like the pill, only its constant because you leave it in your arm. It works for three years so for three years you don't need to worry about forgetting pills or condoms splitting. It might be worth looking into if its the discovery of you pills by your parents you're worried about.
Well, technically pre-ejaculate does not have sperm in it, unless the guy didn't pee after he last came. It's supposidly proven. But as stated above you really should go to planned parenthood, there really cool about stuff. I get condoms from there and stuff. You just make an appointment, get an exam, and they'll give you the pills.
If you don't want your parents finding your pills or anything see if planned parenthood gives out the nuva ring or whatever.
I think those 3 are a good idea though, if you really don't want to go against your parents and get birth control
Yes - go to Planned parenthood or your health dept. - you do not need parental signature. As to your other question - ';Pull out'; method is the most ineffectual of all -- it is really NOT birth control, because men have Pre-ejaculate that seeps out and has sperm in it - so pulling out is too late! Using a condom with spemicide is covering your bases! And even if you get on the pill - use condoms as safe sex against STD's. BC pills do not protect against STD's. I would urge you to wait a while before becoming sexually active, but if you're gonna -- Be smart if you're going to play around.
By using condoms with spermicide which can kill all the sperms after ejectculation, its 100% safety. Brand: Okamoto Beyond Seven Plus or u can use Durex Extra Safe which contain more lubricant, more thick.
Well for women taking too much or a lot of birth control pills may got side-effect to getting a baby in future. Don't take too much.
As a men we should use condom to ensure women safety and your own safety. Dont be fool always wrap your tools.
You can always go to the family planning, or planned parenthood clinics. They will give you birth control pills for free, and they won't tell your parents. Glad to hear that you wanna be responsible. Condoms should work pretty well, but I would still recommend getting on the pill. It works very well, even better than condoms. good luck.
no if ur underage u must have parental consent. But anywho..theres really no reliable method of birth control even the pill is not the most reliable although wearing condoms and pulling out can reduce that but i wouldnt say reliable because ppl still get pregnant when the condom breaks
Planned Parenthood will give you birth control pills w/o parental consent. but yes, a condom alone, when used correctly is around 97% effective- with the spermicide and pull out, you are being even safer
you do not need consent for birth control !
sex, on the other hand... requires consent
learned the hard way
now i live in the woods
idddk...pulling out isnt much help cause guys have pre-***.
