Is there a form of birth control that is not pill form but limits your periods?

Depo-provera, Implanon, and the Mirena IUD lessen bleeding for most people and some stop getting periods altogether.

You can also skip you period using either the nuvaring or the patch. For the nuvaring, you just insert a new ring as soon as you take out the old one--there's no ';off'; week where you bleed. With the patch, you just stick on a new patch every week, rather than having a patch-free week.Is there a form of birth control that is not pill form but limits your periods?
NuvaRing. You put in it, and forget about it for 3 weeks. Then you take it out, and a week later, start again. When I'm on it, I can predict my periods to the day. You can even put a new one in immediately after removing one, thus eliminating your period for that month. I'd say let your body do its thing and let yourself have a period at least every other month, though. Is there a form of birth control that is not pill form but limits your periods?
';The shot'; which you get every 3 months. Depo-Provera. Some women will see shorter periods and some won't see one at all after a few months of being on it.
