I am 38 years old





i have used depo provera for 14 years and gained over 200 lbs on it. was on Merena for 8 months and gained alot to with multipul terrible side effects. Had it removed.





I want to take something that doesnt make me gain weight. I know all of them do but what has the least side effectsWhat is the best form of birth control without all the side effects?
i would just use condoms. i mean birth control may reduce your chances of getting pregnant and having ovarian cancer but it raises the risk of having breast cancer. condoms have no side effects and are reliable ( if you use them correctly) and thier cheap which is a plus lol. i think durex is the best brand, they have lots of flavors and different types. mint and berry are my favorate lol.What is the best form of birth control without all the side effects?
At the age of 38 you probably don't want any children so either have your husband get a vasectomy (that is what we did) or you get your tubes tied (that is what my friend did)
I know of a method which is 100% effective, costs nothing, and has no adverse effects - it's called abstinence.





Barring that - get your tubes tied. At your age and weight pregnancy isn't really an option anyway.
