that is NOT permanent. and for women that have never had children (yet). im currently on the pill, but im looking for something lower maintenance than daily medication. i do want kids eventually, so again, nothing permanent. The longest one ive heard of is Mirena IUD for 5yrs but its for women that have had at least one child. thanks. Longest form of birth control available?
The copper IUD lasts for ten years. And actually, you CAN Get either IUD's if you haven't had children yet. If your doctor won't do it, there's one who will. DON'T do the shot, that thing is AWFUL%26gt;Longest form of birth control available?
The depo shot works pretty well. It last 3 months but can take a while to get pregnat once you go off it (like up to a year)
I used the Mirena IUD and hated it. I don't have avice on birth control that last.
Try the birth control ring, you place it in once a month.

I also know there are other types of rings which you don't need to place in every month as well. It's a simple procedure and can be done at the doctor's office. Try to research the net a bit for more information, I'm pretty sure there is one out there, or ask you're doctor.

(I sound like an commercial - sorry lol)
