Why do people like to maintain control over each other in the form of deceit?

Does it make it easier for them to take things into account?

Does it occur to them that they are having a negative effect on the individual's psychological development and wellbeing?

Do you even know how to answer these questions? Why do people like to maintain control over each other in the form of deceit?
Tricky question. Hurting people, hurt people. I don't think controlling people even comprehend what they do half the time, so I don't think it makes things easier, well in the sense of denial. Sometimes liars believe what they say. In their mind the ';truth'; is a lie they have to believe in order to trick their mind so they can cope with their fairy tale world. So a grand parent might say the grand children are doing great, good grades, good in sports, going to college. In their mind they believe this story. In reality, the grand children have all been held back a grade, run away from home at least once, don't play sports, and eventually dropped out of school. I don't think narcissistic people understand the negative effect they have on individuals they destroy. In their mind they are right and the world is all wrong, they don't have a problem, you do. In their mind it is their job to destroy others, if they are causing conflict, it draws attention away from their flaws and faults. They are incapable of taking responsibility for their actions and behaviors, they don't think they do anything wrong, they are saints after all in their mind, so they have nothing to say ';I am sorry'; for. I don't know how you can fix it, there is no cure for narcissistic personality disorder. Why do people like to maintain control over each other in the form of deceit?
Yes, some are successful in these area , almost practice by everyone and they are happy about it , what they want they get it even in deceits at all cost. Those wise men pitied them as far as am concern, they are the scrap of the society.
