Which Martial Art teaches the student the most intensive form of Self-Control & Discipline?

I am obviously looking to establish an incredible sense of self-control and discipline; which martial art would be optimal?Which Martial Art teaches the student the most intensive form of Self-Control %26amp; Discipline?
The instructor is what determines that, not the style.Even in school you could take the same class from different teachers. Each has their own teaching style for the same material. Each has their own attitude that they instill in the students. Same thing with the martial arts.Which Martial Art teaches the student the most intensive form of Self-Control %26amp; Discipline?
Self-control and discipline start with you, martial arts aren't required to achieve either.

That said, most traditional martial arts place some degree of emphasis on these traits but you can find people without them in every style.

Find a good school in your area and work hard. Practice self control and discipline in your every day life and extend that in to your training. Vent appropriately because everyone gets frustrated at times but it's self control and discipline that keep you from directing that in unhealthy ways.

Good Luck.
shaolin monk kung fu is the most disciplined form of martial arts.

Shaolin training methods can produce extraordinary skills and abilities; examples of these skills include iron body techniques (both offensive and defensive), jumping and wall scaling techniques, pole-top leaping dexterity training, pressure-point and nerve manipulation, and a host of other feats.
The most discipline and self control is the one that doesn't fight back. The one that controls his anger and temper without moving to the provocation of violence. Gandhi is the embodiment of such a martial art. You may have the power and the ability to cause harm to others but you refrain from using it, with humility and understanding. -- this is true self control and discipline.
To me, it sounds like you might want to enlist in the US Marine Corps instead. If they can't teach you self-control and discipline, nobody can.

But I doubt that it comes down to what form of martial art you study. It comes more from you, instead. If you want to learn this, and develop self-control and discipline, YOU have to do it - not karate, judo, krav maga, tai kwan leap, or any other you care to name.

You.
Goju Ryu Karate. I have done this for 10 years. It is superb. Perfect for self defence. Goju Ryu teaches self-defence rather than all out fighting.

To be honest any version of karate is good over the likes of judo, ty quan do and Tye boxing.

Hope you choose Karate. It's for life and it will make you a better man trust me.
It depends on how you like it and how good the Dojo is. I find Muay Thai to be very versatile in all areas of Martial Arts and I think that would be the best one.
its not the style that teaches that, its the instructor. and most traditional instructor teach this way.
It depends on the school and teacher. One taekwondo school may have the best discipline while the other taekwondo school will not.
