Yes, this is actually why I believe homosexuality exists as it is evidenced in other animals than just humans. War on the other hand is more of a human necessity than a natural one. Soldiers are trained to kill and overcome their natural tendency to avoid it. If war was natural there wouldn't need to be training like this, we could just do it. There are a couple species of ape that also go to war but none on the scale that we do obviously.Could things like war and homosexuality be a form of natural population control?

I prefer eugenics in the future though, it will help to keep only certain genes preserved in the population. I'm not a fascist for believing in this grand ';utopia.'; It truly will work if we test our faiths and really start thinking of it as a reality. No, war is not natural. We are the only ';animal'; which kills for base motives like greed or money or oil. All the other animals just kill to survive if they don't have enough food. So no, war is not natural.
