Is there a form of birth control that does not effect sex drive or cause blood clotting?

Which has the minimal amount of side effect with low estrogen levels? Is blood clotting common? Is there a form of birth control that does not effect sex drive or cause blood clotting?
I have used the contraceptive pill Microgynon 30 for over 10 years now and have no problems with lowered sex drive or blood clotting. Try that one ! lol xxxIs there a form of birth control that does not effect sex drive or cause blood clotting?
Yes, things like condoms, etc., do not contain any hormones, which are the things that affect the things you're talking about.

Other than that, no, there are no hormonal birth controls that have no possibility of affecting hormone levels.
I agree with Cari. I have the Paraguard IUD specifically because I didn't want anything with hormones. Because it's copper based it can cause your periods to be heavier and/or more painful cramps but that's about it. And she's absolutely right that you don't have to have already given birth to get it. It's really up to the individual doctor whether or not to give you one.
Paragard IUD is hormone FREE..

Very effective BC method, and NO you do not have to already have kids to have one. You just have to find the right doctor.

NUVA RING is a very low dose of estrogen, a VERY low dose.

You should discuss your concerns with your doctor, they can help you find a SAFE birth control method for your body.
So... you're asking if theres a FEMALE HORMONE product out there that doesn't affect sex drive?

Um, no.

There are many types of birth control, each one caters to an individual's own metabolism and overall body workings. Some are catered to those with hyper/hypokalemia, those with low iron, etc... Only a gynecologist and some bloodwork can determine the ideal pill for her.
