Which form of birth control is more effective the pill or the shot?

The pill. The shot is 95% and the pill is 98%. This is because the shot also has a LOT of side effects. When I went to my doctor, they said they recomend the pill because there are less risks, and it works better.Which form of birth control is more effective the pill or the shot?

i liked the shot cause u had no period and u didnt have to use portection if ur married or in a long realitionship but if not i would use a condom to portct you from getting anything that u dont want.
The shot is very effective at screwing up your entire body.
