The most common form of birth control would be the Essure sterilization procedure. Its more effective than a vasectomy or a tubal ligation (tubes tied). Essure is 99.95% Effective at one year. Condoms are one of the worst (about 85%). However condoms will also prevent STD's.
There is nothing more reliable, and dirt cheap than a vasectomy.
