Will pro life people stop saying women use abortion as a form of birth control?

I have a hard time believing that many women would rather have an abortion instead of taking a small pill everyday. Birth control is only 99% effective. So should women just stop having sex to avoid being that 1%?Will pro life people stop saying women use abortion as a form of birth control?
Technically speaking, abortion is used as a form of birth control. You would have to be naive to believe that everyone who has an abortion was practicing responsible contraceptive practices. They aren't, so abortion becomes their contraceptive method. You would think they would prefer taking a pill each day, or pulling out a condom, but sometimes people just don't make responsible decisions. I'm sure they don't actually choose to use abortion as birth control, but through neglecting to choose an alternative birth control, this is what they're doing.





Also, the birth control pill is 99.9% effective, and that includes human error, so it's an extremely effective form of birth control.

No they will not. You want to know why? Because they are stupid, and the are trying to rid women of their rights.





I take the pill everyday, but what am I supposed to do, like you said, just stop having sex because of that 1% chance it won't work? No, that just doesn't even make sense, and if you never take risks, you will never go any where in life.
lol thats untrue actually not all birth control is that effective AND not all birth control works for every girl..i used my religiously for two years and got pregnant..it happens to more women then you think :)





and i agree with u i doubt many women would prefer to get an abortion then take a pill...abortions do not seem fun..and are costly..who would want that over a pill? not many i assume
ive never heard of an ';actual'; women who used it as birth control. 88% of abortions that are done involved failed contraceptives. And telling people to stop having sex is like telling the sun to stop rising. We are sexual beings and we all have needs.
My sister used to be a nurse at a clinic in NYC. She told me over half the women there had gotten pregnant thinking their boyfriends would want to get married, but when that failed and the guy split they just threw the baby out like trash.
Hmm, I believe that our nation being pro life would be an intelligent decision. It will give people a reason to plan ahead and be more responsible. Ultimately it will help us develop.
