I can't use any sort of birth control pill/patch/ring due to health reasons. My husband and I both hate condoms. I've been using Ortho Options Conceptrol, but the failure rate of that product has me a little worried. I'm looking to switch to a similar form of birth control, and I'm lost as to what is the best choice.What is the best form of birth control?
the best option would be to talk to your doctor. if you hate condoms, maybe you could switch to a different barrier method like the diaphragm or cervical cap? i know the sponge used to be an option, but i think they discontinued it.
if you talk to the gyn about this issue, he/she will be able to give you the most up to date and appropriate advice.
